Update: Missing Marshall County man found safe

FRIDAY NIGHT UPDATE:  Chester Vied has been found safe and is back with his family.

ORIGINAL STORY: A Golden Alert is in effect for a missing 83-year-old who suffers from dementia.

The Marshall County Sheriff’s office, Marshall County Rescue Squad and the East Marshall Fire Department are searching for Chester Vied of Dyke Rd in Marshall County. He was last seen at his home around 1:00 pm. 

He’s believed to have left his home in a 1984 Ford 250, two-tone blue, super cab truck.

Vied was last known to be wearing a brown flannel shirt, Carhart jacket, camo ball cap and jeans.
