McCracken County man charged with stabbing two people

A McCracken County man was arrested and charged with stabbing two people.

Marissa Mckinney told the Paducah Police Department that her son, 22-year-old Tilon Hill, was at her home around 3:00 p.m. on Thursday when he became angry.

She said he picked up a knife and tried to stab her, but instead stabbed Jeraltavien Burton who was sitting next to her on the couch.

Hill then left the home and went to his grandmother’s house.

His grandmother, Marquita Hamilton, says Hill was in her living room when Mckinney called and said that he had stabbed someone.

Hill then came into the kitchen and stabbed his grandmother while she was on the telephone. He then left the house.

Both victims were taken to local hospitals where they were treated and released.

Hill was found a short time later at a home on Guthrie Avenue and arrested.

He was charged with first-degree assault and second-degree assault and taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.
