Ballard Wildlife Management Area closed due to flooding
Ballard Wildlife Management Area in Ballard County is closed because of flooded roads and predictions that the water will continue to rise in the coming days, the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife announced Monday.
The department says the wildlife management area will reopen for waterfowl hunting once waters have receded to a level safe for travel around the area.
