Harrisburg, IL woman dies in house fire

A Harrisburg, Illinois woman died over the weekend in a house fire.

Harrisburg firefighters were called to 1258 South Granger around 4:44 a.m. on Saturday.

Inside, they found 52-year-old Rhonda Uzzle. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

A preliminary autopsy shows that Rhonda died of asphyxiation due to smoke inhalation.

An investigation into the fire is ongoing.

Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, Illinois is handling funeral arrangements.

A visitation will be held Monday, January 4, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

The memorial service will start at 11:00 a.m.
