MISSING: 61-year-old Russell A. Johnson

The Cairo, Illinois, Police Department says it received a report Monday of a missing man who is legally blind. Police say he was last seen around 9 p.m. on Jan. 3.

Police say 61-year-old Russell A. Johnson was supposed to be on the Amtrak train in Carbondale on Monday morning to transfer to Rantoul, Illinois, but never arrived. He’s described as standing 6 feet tall and weighing 195 pounds, with brown eyes and black and gray hair.
