McCracken County man accused of robbery in Craigslist case

We have a reminder from local detectives Wednesday to be extremely cautious when buying from strangers.

Paducah police say 20-year-old Michael Lightfoot, of McCracken County, robbed another man through Craigslist.

Officers say Lightfoot posted an ad on Craigslist for an iPhone for sale, met with a man who wanted to buy it last week and threatened him with a handgun before leaving with the phone and $250 the man had given him for it.

Lightfoot was charged with first degree robbery and jailed in the McCracken County Regional Jail.
