Shooting near UK campus leaves 1 man dead, another injured

Authorities say an 18-year-old man was killed in a shooting near the University of Kentucky campus.
    
The Lexington Herald-Leader (bit.ly/1RfyXgA) reports that another man was injured in the shooting early Saturday.
    
The Fayette County coroner’s office says Caleb J. Hallett was pronounced dead at University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital.
    
An autopsy was completed but results were not immediately released.
    
Police did not immediately identify the second victim or his condition.
    
Police say they got a call at 3:05 a.m. EST about the shooting. They said they found two men with gunshot wounds near a vehicle.
    
Police said the possible suspects were white men who had been wearing masks.
    
UK spokesman Jay Blanton says the victims were not UK students.
