Banks accepting donations for southern Illinois flood relief fund

A group of banks in the Local 6 area are accepting donations to help folks affected by flooding in southern Illinois. 

The banks are accepting donations for the Southern Illinois Community Foundation’s Flood Relief Regional Disaster Fund. The fund, based in Marion, Illinois, is used to help provide food, clothing and shelter. 

Regions Bank, Peoples National Bank, SIU Credit Union, Mid Country Bank, City National Bank, First Southern Bank, Grand Rivers Community Bank, Farmers State Bank, Legence Bank, First Bank and Trust of Murphysboro, U.S. Bank, Anna-Jonesboro National Bank and the Bank of Carbondale are accepting donations for SICF at all their branches.
