Police investigating Paducah boat theft

Paducah police say they want your help solving a break in and theft that happened on Irvin Cobb Drive last week.

Police say the theft happened at the Old Bait House at 2005 Irvin Cobb Drive in Paducah. Steve Ballard with the Old Bait House told officers he arrived for work Jan. 4 and found that someone had broken into a fenced area. An Alumacraft 17-foot boat, a Bear trailer and three Mercury outboard motors are reported missing. 

The boat has a camouflage pattern, police say, and the trailer is black. The boat, trailer and motors are valued at more than $20,000.
