Highway closure planned in Hickman County

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says it plans to close a section of Kentucky 1218 in Hickman County starting Wednesday.

KYTC spokesman Keith Todd says the site to be closed is between KY 129/State Line Road and KY 1219 in the Hickman County panhandle.

Todd says KY 1218 will be closed from the 0 to 1 mile marker so crews can pour concrete pavement at the site of a recent cross drain replacement project.

The site will be closed starting at 8 a.m. on Wednesday. It is expected to remain closed until sometime Friday. Todd says there will be no marked detour.
