Moving lane restriction planned along I-24 in Paducah area

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says it plans a moving work zone lane restriction along Interstate 24 in the Paducah area on Thursday starting around 8 a.m.

KYTC spokesman Keith Todd says an inspection team will check the condition of deck sealant on bridges and overpasses along I-24 from the Kentucky 305 Exit 3 Overpass extending eastward to about the Clarks River Bridge near the 14 mile marker.

Todd said the inspection team will restrict traffic to one lane for about 30 to 40 minutes at each bridge along this section. It will restrict eastbound and westbound traffic at various times and locations along that 11-mile section of I-24.

The work is expected to concluding around 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
