Road that crosses Kentucky Avenue construction zone reopened, another road set to close

A road that crosses Kentucky Avenue in Paducah has been reopened, but another road is set to close.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says South 16th Street where it crosses the US 45/Kentucky Avenue construction zone was reopened to traffic on Wednesday.

The intersection was closed so that a contractor could pour concrete pavement.

As work continues westward, South 21st Street is next to be closed at the Kentucky Avenue intersection.

South 21st Street is expected to close Wednesday afternoon and remain closed for 4 to 6 days.
