Man charged with aggravated battery in Massac County, Ill.

Deputies arrested a local man wanted on aggravated battery charges.

The Massac County, Illinois, Sheriff’s Department says Matthew Summers just turned himself into their custody. 

The state’s attorney in Massac County says they have been looking for summers since earlier this month. He adds Summers struck a teenager in the face– causing serious injuries. 

Summers is now out on bond.
