Two arrested on drug charges after search of home

Graves County deputies arrested two people on drug charges after searching their home.

Sheriff Dewayne Redmon says drug detectives searched the home of Mary Smith and Eric Vancura and found schedule II and schedule IV prescription medications, some of which were in a felt drawstring bag with cash.

Detectives believe the money came from the sale of illegal drugs.  Marijuana was also found in the home along with a large sum of additional cash.

Smith and Vancura were arrested and booked in the Graves County Jail.  They are charged with trafficking a controlled substance, trafficking marijuana and drug possession.
