New program puts you in control of your energy bill

A new program is putting you in control of your energy bill.

Paducah Power System is now offering "pay as you go" or PAYGO to its customers.

It’s similar to a prepaid cell phone where you only use what you pay for, and you can pay as little or as much as you like, whenever you like.

If you choose this plan, you won’t receive a monthly bill.

Instead, you’ll get email or text alerts about your daily balance.

The program will begin on February 8.
