Throw-A-Thon being held held for Empty Bowls Project

Starting on Monday, you can help those who need food in our area through the Empty Bowls Project.

The Paducah School of Art and Design is pitching in again this year.

The Throw-A-Thon even is from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Monday night at the school’s campus on Madison Street.

Those 14 and older can make ceramic bowls using pottery wheels.

Last year the project provided about 70,000 meals in Paducah.
