Murray-Calloway County Hospital offering free screenings in February

Murray-Calloway County Hospital says its Wellness Works program will offer free community health screenings in February.

The screening dates are:

  • Blood pressure and heel scan screenings – 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 3, at the Marshall County Senior Center at 1713 Golf Course Road in Benton, Kentucky.
  • Blood pressure, BMI, heel scan, pulmonary function and waist circumference screenings – Wednesday, Feb. 10, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. in the Spring Creek Health Care Station 3 Dining Room at 1401 South 16th St. in Murray.
  • Blood pressure and heel scan screenings – Tuesday, Feb. 9 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Hickory Woods at 84 Utterback Road in Murray.

The hospital says the screenings are free to the communities visited by Wellness Works and are provided to detect diseases in the earliest stages, when there are often no symptoms.
