Deputies: Driver not seriously hurt after hitting tree

A Danville, Illinois man wasn’t seriously hurt after crashing his SUV into a tree in McCracken County early Saturday morning.

Deputies say Ricardo Powell, 27, was driving his Ford Explorer on Wilmington Road when he dropped off the roadway.  Deputies say he over-corrected and hit a tree.  

Powell was taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
