Shooting reported near Polar Bear event in Carbondale

One person was shot near the Polar Bear event in Carbondale, Illinois.

Carbondale police say the man who was shot is currently being treated at a St. Louis hospital for a non-life threatening injury.  Police say the man was approached by three other men in the area of Cedarview Drive around 6pm Saturday.  He was shot in the shoulder. 

Carbondale police do not have any suspects in custody.  The name of the man who was shot has not been released.
