Work continues on the reconstruction of US 45/Kentucky Avenue in Paducah.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says it has reopened South 21st Street where it crosses Kentucky Avenue.

Crews have now moved onto to the intersection with South 16th Street.

The road is closed at the intersection with Kentucky Avenue so that crews can pave in the area.

Kentucky Avenue traffic will not be able to turn left onto South 16th Street, but will be able to turn right onto Broadway.

South 16th Street will be closed at the intersection through Friday.
