Wanted woman sought on fraud charges

Deputies want your help locating a woman suspected of passing forged checks, according to the McCracken County Sheriff’s Department. 

The sheriff’s department says Food World in West Paducah reported to investigator’s Monday it received bad checks . When the checks were taken to the bank, deputies say, it was discovered the checks were reported stolen in Ballard County. 

Deputies in Ballard and McCracken counties say they viewed surveillance footage and identified the suspect as 51-year-old Loretta Pierce, also known as Loretta Brown, of LaCenter. McCracken deputies say she’s wanted on 29 outstanding warrants for check fraud in seven west Kentucky counties.
