Teenager charged with filming men without their permission in YMCA locker room
A 19-year-old was arrested and charged with taking cell-phone video of men without their permission.
The Sikeston Department of Public Safety says officers were called to the YMCA on January 31st.
The 18-year-old victim said Earl Madison followed him into the men’s restroom and used a cell-phone to record him while he was standing up to use the restroom.
Police arrested Madison and got permission to search his phone. Officers say there were several videos of men in various stages of undress on the phone.
Madison was a part-time employee at the YMCA who was off-duty at the time of the original incident.
During an interview with police, Madison admitted to videotaping men while working.
Madison also admitted to committing the same act at a college in a different state.
A judge charged Madison with three counts of invasion of privacy and set a bond of $15,000 cash or surety.
Police have also seized all of Madison’s electronic devices and will be searching through them.
All victims will be notified as soon as possible by investigators.
