Former Ballard County jailer enters not guilty plea

A former jailer in Ballard County is pleading not guilty to a misdemeanor charge.

Mike Horn entered that plea in court on Friday to a charge of second degree official misconduct.

The commonwealth attorney says it involved the jail’s commissary account from the year 2013.

The case was sent back to district court for the morning of February 23.

Horn’s deputy jailer at the time, Monica Galloway, is also charged.
