Man leads KSP on pursuit, crashes his car

A pursuit by Kentucky State Police sends a man to the hospital after the driver crashes his car.

KSP says a trooper was responding to an accident when he spotted Zayer Adams going 82 miles an hour in a 55 miles an hour zone.  The trooper tried to pull Adams over, but he did not stop.

KSP says Adams lost control of his car while traveling westbound on Dr. Martin Luther King Way in Christian Count on Saturday.  He sustained several injuries and was flown to Vanderbilt Medical Center.

KSP plans to serve Adams a warrant and charging him with violations pertaining to the pursuit.
