Rollover wreck on I-24 injures one

One person was injured on a rollover wreck on Interstate 24 Tuesday morning.

The McCracken County Sheriff’s Department says 43-year-old James Oliver of Eddyville was driving west on I-24 near the 14 mile marker.

Due to slippery road conditions, Oliver lost control of his truck and hit a concrete bridge wall.

The truck then crossed across the road and hit a guardrail, causing the truck to overturn.

Oliver was taken to a local hospital for non-incapacitating injuries.
