Baptist Health Paducah says investigation shows medical supplies are sanitary

Medical supplies at Baptist Health Paducah are sanitary.

That’s the result of an investigation by the Office of the Inspector General.

The hospital was following up on claims made by Dr. Ted Jefferson.

A police report from January 26 says Jefferson was working at Baptist Health Paducah when he noticed his medical supplies were unsanitary.

Jefferson is accused of making threatening remarks involving guns in response to those unsanitary supplies.

According to a memo from Baptist Health Paducah, the investigation of the complaint was, "determined to be unsubstantiated."

Jefferson is charged with terroristic threatening and disorderly conduct.
