Healthy Living Health Fair 2016

WPSD Local 6 and 14 area businesses are teaming up for this year’s Healthy Living Health Fair.

The health fair will be held at Kentucky Oaks Mall on Monday, February 15, from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

The businesses will be providing a number of different health screenings all for free.

There will also be speakers throughout the day.

Below is a list of all the businesses attending and the free tests they will provide.


Audibel  – Hearing test

Audiology & Hearing Center – Video ear exams

Baptist Health Paducah – Body mass index

Barkley Center – Balance testing

Core Physical Therapy – Neck & back range of motion testing

IMAC – Muscle & nerve testing

Jackson Purchase Medical Center’s Advanced Wound Care Healing Center – Diabetic foot screenings

Lake Way Nursing & Rehabilitation – Cholesterol screenings
– All those wanting to have their cholesterol tested will have to fast at least 12 hours ahead of time. That means nothing to eat and nothing to drink except for water. Fasting will give the most accurate results.

Mills Health & Rehab – Foot washings & screenings

Paducah Pharmacy – Hormone evaluations

Parkview Nursing & Rehabilitation – Blood sugar testing

Purchase District Health Dept – Diabetes risk assessments

SouthGate Nursing & Rehabilitation – Blood pressure screening

The Eye Center of Paducah – Glaucoma screening
