National Corvette Museum opens exhibit on sinkhole

An exhibit on the cave-in at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky is now open.

On February 12, 2014, a sink hole opened up inside the museum.

Eight cars were found at the bottom.

The museum wanted to keep the sinkhole open as an attraction, but was not able to.

So instead they started work on an exhibit.

That exhibit opened on Friday, the two year anniversary of finding the sinkhole.

The exhibit includes the history of the event, interactive displays, and the science on sinkholes.

The exhibit is open to the public and is included with regular museum admission.
