Semi crash that blocked eastbound I-24 traffic near Calvert City cleared

UPDATE: KYTC says the site is cleared and and all lanes are open.

Eastbound Interstate 24 traffic is being blocked in Marshall County due to a semi crash.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says the crash is near mile marker 28 which is between the Calvert City exit 27 interchange and the I-24 Tennessee River Bridge.

Eastbound traffic is being detour off at Calvert City exit 27 to US 62 eastbound. Traffic can get back onto I-24 via the KY 453 Grand Rivers exit 31 interchange or the US 62 Eddyville-Kuttawa exit 40 interchange.

The road is expected to be blocked for about two hours.
