City of Harrisburg to honor tornado victims in memorial ceremony

The city of Harrisburg will hold a Tornado Memorial Ceremony to remember the eight people who died as result of the EF4 tornado that hit the city four years ago.

The memorial is scheduled for Monday, February 29 at noon at the First Mid-Illinois Bank & Trust.  It’s located at 719 Rollie Moore Drive.  Current Harrisburg Mayor Dale Fowler and former Mayor Eric Gregg are scheduled to speak.

The public is invited to attend.
