McCracken man dies in ATV crash

The McCracken County Sheriff’s Department is investigating an ATV crash that killed a man.

Around 4:00 p.m. Monday, deputies were called to 415 Wadesboro Road on reports of an unresponsive man.

At the property, deputies found the body of 51-year-old David Hanna who lived at that address.

Deputies say Hanna had been driving an all-terrain vehicle along a creek bank when he hit a hole.

The ATV then rolled down the bank into the creek.

Hanna died from injuries sustained during the rollover.

Hanna’s co-workers found his body.

Hanna had not been seen since Saturday and when he didn’t show up for work Monday, his co-workers went looking for him in the fields behind his home.
