Here are six things to know for today.

At 7:00 a.m., most polls will open in Tennessee for the presidential primary as part of Super Tuesday. Polls will be open until 7:00 p.m. In Obion County polls will open at 8:00 a.m. and in Weakley County they will open at 9:00 a.m.

Apple has won an important legal battle against the federal government. A judge in New York ruled police cannot force Apple to unlock a drug dealer’s phone. The ruling could help Apple in its court battle with the FBI in California.

McCracken County sheriff deputies arrested Tammy Abanatha and James Dowell overnight. It started around 8:45 p.m. when deputies received a call about alleged drug activity at a home on Clinton Road. Deputies found meth, digital scales, a marijuana plant, and several weapons in the home.

You can expect to still see smoke coming from Land between the Lakes today. The U.S. Forest Service is expecting a wildlife that started on Sunday to put itself out in the next couple of days as rain moves into the area.

The Oscar ratings are down this year. Nielsen says just over 34 million people into the Academy Awards Sunday night. That’s the smallest audience since 2008.
