Entries for dogwood art, photo contest to be accepted soon

The city of Paducah says entries for this year’s Dogwood Art and Photography Contest will start being accepted later this month. 

Entries will be accepted from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. March 21 through March 24 at the Paducah School of Art and Design at 905 Harrison Street. Judging will be March 25. 

In addition to cash prizes, the first, second, and third place winners in the art category and the photography category will be on display as part of the Mayor’s Art Club at Paducah City Hall from April through June.  

The contest is sponsored by the Paducah Civic Beautification Board, and it’s coordinated and judged by the Paducah School of Art and Design.
