Dr. Ted Jefferson set to go to trial

Doctor Ted Jefferson’s case is going to trial.

Jefferson was in McCracken County court on Tuesday for the third time since his arrest in late January.

The orthopedic surgeon is accused of making gun-related remarks at Baptist Health Paducah.

He is facing terroristic threatening and disorderly conduct charges.

In the police report, Jefferson told officers that he was upset because his surgical tray was unsanitary.

His lawyer, Bard Brian says the truth will come out in court.

Jefferson’s trial will begin May 13.
