Early morning shooting in Walmart parking lot

The Poplar Bluff Police Department is investigating a deadly shooting at a Walmart parking lot.

Officers were called to the Walmart at 333 South Westwood around 7:00 a.m. on reports of shots fired in the parking lot.

A victim was found dead. Minutes later a suspect was found in the front lobby of the store.

The suspect was taken into custody without incident.
