Caldwell County woman shot in Lyon County

Kentucky State Police are investigating a shooting in Lyon County.

Around 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, troopers were called by the Caldwell County dispatch about a Caldwell County woman that was shot in Lyon County.

33-year-old Tera Brown of Princeton was shot in the leg at a home on Leroy Road in Lyon County. She was looking for her adult daughter.

Brown drove herself to the Caldwell County Hospital Emergency Room where she was treated and admitted to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Troopers say 29-year-old Charles Breedlove of Lyon County is the shooter. He was found at his home and arrested without incident.

Breedlove is charged with assault 2nd degree, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and tampering with physical evidence. He was taken to the Caldwell County Jail.
