Man found guilty Cairo shooting death

A Cairo, Illinois, man was found guilty Friday of murder in a shooting death that happened in June, 2015.

The Alexander County, Illinois, circuit court clerk tells us a jury found Marquad Harris guilty of first degree murder in the shooting death of  34-year-old Christopher Nelson, of Cairo. 

Harris’ sentencing will be held at 10 a.m. on April 12.
