Firefighters respond to house fire in Benton, KY

Firefighters were on the scene of a house fire in Benton, Kentucky Sunday morning. The home on Houser Road was fully engulfed.

A woman was living there at the time, but she managed to make it out.  However, she suffered first and second degree burns.  She was taken to the hospital for treatment, but was released Sunday morning.

The house is a loss.  Four cars on the property were also destroyed.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
