Man collecting and donating suitcases for foster kids

Suitcases to call their own. Don Pratt is a foster father who realized when his kids move from home to home, they carried their things in trash bags.

The Lexington man is traveling through our area picking up your donations to his Foster Luggage Program.

Pratt says it is the least he can do.

"I do know that they need it and I know the individual feeling of even social workers having to carry garbage bags it is tragic," said Pratt.

Pratt dropped some of the suitcases off Friday afternoon at the Protection and Placement Office in Fulton, Kentucky.

He’s been on this missing for the last 15 years.
