Section of Graves County road washed out by flooding officially back open

Wadesboro Road in Graves County needed additional work after a cross drain was repaired following a washout from flooding. The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says that work is finished and the road is back open.

Wadesboro Road is a part of Kentucky 348 near the county line with McCracken County. The road was temporarily opened on Friday through the weekend, and was closed Monday morning so additional repairs could be made. KYTC spokesman Keith Todd says that work was finished Monday afternoon.

Todd said crews will likely be back in the general area of that section of road in the coming weeks as areas continue to dry out. He says they’ll be doing some ditching and shoulder work.
