Work on Pennyrile Parkway to reduce traffic to one lane

A few miles of the Pennyrile Parkway in Webster and Hopkins Counties will be reduced to one lane starting Monday.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says crews will be digging out and replacing the median crossovers.

The work is part of the upgrades to bring the Pennyrile Parkway up to standards for Interstate 69.

Crews will be working between mile markers 61 and 67.

Traffic will be reduced to one lane.

Work is expected to take about two to three weeks to complete.
