Man arrested after allegedly shooting his own brother

A Williamson County man is in the hospital after deputies say his brother shot him over a property dispute.

Sheriff’s deputies say 48-year-old Gene Lemasters was removing his sister’s car from a garage whose ownership is in dispute just before 9:00 p.m. Monday.

That is when his brother, 68-year-old Clive Lemasters, allegedly shot him with a shotgun.

Gene was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Deputies arrested Clive and charged him with aggravated domestic battery with a firearm.
