President Obama in Cuba, briefed on Brussels attacks

President Barack Obama is in Cuba but the White House says he has been briefed on the attacks carried out in Brussels on Tuesday morning. The White House says the U.S. was in contact with Belgian officials just after the attacks.

The Associated Press reports that the U.S. Department of Homeland Security is monitoring the events in Brussels. We also know that the Department of Homeland Security says the U.S. "will not hesitate to adjust our security posture, as appropriate, to protect the American people."
