Section of Trigg County road restricted at overpass

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says it has restricted a section of Bush Road in Trigg County to a 15 foot maximum load width until further notice.

The restriction at the overpass on Bush Road, which is part of Kentucky 6049, where it crosses Interstate 24.

KYTC spokesman Keith Todd says inspectors found one end of the structure is in need of repair during a recent inspection of the overpass. A portion of the overpass has been barreled off.

The restriction will be in place until repairs can be completed. Todd says the restriction may keep some farm equipment from crossing the structure.

This overpass is at mile point 0.075 of KY 6049.

Todd says there is no impact to traffic on I-24.
