Gerber baby food recalled

Gerber Products Company is recalling two organic baby foods because of a packaging defect. That problem could make the products susceptible to spoilage during transport and handling. Affect products will look bloated and the food inside will have off-taste and order.

Recalled pouches include pears, carrots, peas, apples and mangoes flavors.

The recalled pouches of pears, carrots and peas have best-by dates of July 12, 2016, with batch number 51945335XX and July 13, 2016 with batch number 51955335XX, and the recalled carrots, apples and mangoes have best-by dates of July 13, 2016, with batch number 51955335XX and July 14, 2016, with batch number 51965335XX, according to the FDA and Gerber.

If you have these products at home, throw them out and call the Gerber Parents Resource Center at 1-800-706-0556.
