Fire hydrants sporting new coats of paint in Paducah’s Lower Town
The fire hydrants around Paducah’s Lower Town are now sporting new coats of paint.
Paducah Main Street says 12 fire hydrants were painted over the weekend as part of the Paint-the-Plugs project.
Fifteen other fire hydrants already a part of the Paint-the-Plugs project were also touched up.
That brings the total to 27 fire hydrants.
The fire hydrants painted create a boundary around the Lower Town Arts District and include Jefferson, 9th Street, Martin Luther King Drive, and 4th Street.
