Obion County students perform in Washington

A group of local Tennessee students are in Washington D.C. Tuesday to perform at the World War II museum there.

Obion County Central High School Band Director Jonathan Byrd says 56 of his students are performing at the museum.

Byrd says the students have toured the Holocaust Museum and the World War II Museum. Wednesday, they will tour the capital, the Library of Congress and other memorials.

Their visit began Monday and they will return home on Friday.  The class takes a trip every four years.
