Ramp to Purchase Parkway temporarily closed Friday

A ramp from Interstate 24 to the Purchase Parkway will be temporarily closed on Friday.

Crews will be closing the eastbound Interstate 24 ramp to the southbound lanes of the Purchase Parkway around 8:30 a.m.

This is heading from Paducah to Benton.

The closure is needed to install concrete barricades.

The barricades are part of the work to upgrade the Purchase Parkway to Interstate 69.

The ramp should re-open around 3:00 p.m.
