Police looking for suspect in weekend shooting

Police are still looking for a suspect in a weekend shooting in Carbondale.

This is the fourth shooting in two weeks.

The victim told police he was driving in the 900 block of East College Street Saturday night, when another man got out of his car, had a brief conversation with him, and then attacked him.

The suspect stole money from the victim and shot him in the leg. The victim was treated and released from a local hospital.

The suspects is described as a 25 to 30-year-old black man, around six to six foot two in height, weighing about 180 pounds. He was wearing blue jeans and a black hooded shirt. The suspect’s car is described as a gray, 1980’s model Chevrolet four-door, possibly a Caprice.
