Road closure planned next week in Fulton County

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to close a section of Kentucky 94 in Fulton County starting next week.

KYTC spokesman Keith Todd says KY 94/Moscow Avenue will be closed at mile point 14.05  starting Monday, April 18, so a concrete box culvert and be removed and to allow assembly and installation of a prefabricated aluminum culvert. 

Todd says the work site is on Moscow Avenue in the city Hickman, just west of the intersection with Van Lee Boulevard.  It’s between 10th Street and Marion Avenue.

The roadway is expected to close at around 8 a.m. on Monday, and it’s expected to reopen to traffic around 3 p .m. on Thursday, April 21, if the weather permits. Todd says traffic along Moscow Avenue will be diverted at Kentucky 1099 and Kentucky 2140.   

Todd says local traffic will be maintained on each side of the closure point.
